Design Visionary
Philippe Starck
Philippe Starck is one of the most well-known creators of our time.
Subversive and poetic, unexpected and free-spirited, rebellious and political, Starck experiments with a mission and a vision: creation, whatever shape it takes, must make life better for the largest number of people possible.
As a vision of a better world, his creations attest a responsibility for society and the environment and a love for humanity.
Starck has been generating “aha” moments and setting international standards with his design since the 1970s. He began collaborating with AXOR on
bathroom design more than 30 years ago.

Poetic Design From Japan
Nendo
Cutting-edge design by Nendo. Simple. Minimalist. And always unexpected. The creations from the Japanese design studio break with convention. They create that ‘wow’ effect. And are easy to understand.
“Good design is when I can explain my ideas to my grandmother or to a young child.” The architect and designer Oki Sato named his studio after the Japanese word for modelling clay. A clue that his designs are created in a very playful way.
This unusual approach has placed him at the forefront of the international design scene. And made him a design partner of AXOR.

The Swedish "Avantgardistes"
Front
Anna Lindgren and Sofia Lagerkvist are two of the founders of Front. A globally sought-after design office and successful design export from Sweden. The avant-gardists are eager to experiment.
Conventional ideas? Throw them overboard. In product design: In the manufacturing process they blur the boundaries between interior design and art.
The cooperation between AXOR and the Front began in 2013 with an AXOR WaterDream. The goal is to reinterpret the shower. An installation of pipes, valves, funnels was created – and thus new archetypes. A water experience in original form. As the best concept for the shower, the AXOR WaterDream by Front 2014 received the coveted "Wallpaper" Design Award.
